Rijn Vogelaar is the author of the book The Superpromoter – The Power of Enthusiasm. A superpromoter is the personification of the power of enthusiasm. Superpromoters share their enthusiasm about products, brands and businesses and in doing so influence others. As worthy ambassadors, they recommend products and their behaviour is mimicked by others. These customers and employees' contagious enthusiasm is proving essential to the success of all sorts of businesses and government organizations. They are responsible for innovation, employee motivation and increased turnover. Once you know how to deal with superpromoters, they can then become perfect co-creators. Strangely enough, many organizations have been afflicted by superpromoter blindness! Managers – and in fact most people – are unaware of their most important partners because we are programmed to focus on predominantly negative issues.
