What will you be doing?
The Sport & Sponsorships team focuses on market research for international sports organisations and sports sponsors. Based on our research results, we advise brands on how to increase the impact of their sponsorship and help sports organisations with insights that contribute to successful partnerships. We work for international brands such as PlayStation, Amazon and FedEx, and with major sports organisations such as UEFA, Formula 1, and various large teams, clubs and associations.
As a Strategic Research Consultant, you are responsible for providing our clients with sound advice based on research results. You understand the client’s challenge and know how to help them further through research. You act as a sparring partner at a strategic level for sponsorship managers, partnership managers and marketers. In addition, you contribute to business development by engaging in substantive discussions with (potential) clients and challenging them with our vision and approach.
Your responsibilities:
- Managing and improving relationships with international clients;
- Ensuring you understand client challenges and providing them with sound advice based on research results;
- Conducting strategic conversations about sport and sponsorships with marketers and sponsorship managers in international organisations;
- Contributing to the team’s commercial objectives by convincingly conveying our vision and approach to (potential) clients;
- Writing research proposals that align with the challenges and strategy of international sponsors and sports organisations;
- Supervising (junior) research managers on research projects;
- Setting the bar high, for yourself and for the team.
We are a match if:
- You have at least 5 years of experience and a university-level way of working and thinking;
- You are a convincing sparring partner for international sponsorship and marketing managers;
- You possess strategic and analytical thinking skills;
- You work independently and take initiative, but also have a keen eye for others;
- The professional world of sport and sponsorship holds no secrets for you;
- The English language is no problem at all for you (speaking and writing);
- You can join our conversations about everything related to sport;
- You bring enthusiasm, ambition and positivity to our team.
For this position, a good command of the Dutch language and residency in the Netherlands is a requirement.
