At the ESOMAR Congress in Valencia, Blauw won the ESOMAR Research Impact Award. The international award was presented for the AI-powered Retail Media Impact Advisor, which Blauw developed together with AH Retail Media Services.
News
The award recognises research that delivers measurable impact. De Retail Media Impact Advisor brings together research, campaign data and AI in one platform that helps marketers both predict and improve the effectiveness of retail media campaigns.
From campaign data to improvement in 60 seconds
The Retail Media Impact Advisor predicts within 60 seconds how effective a retail media ad is likely to be. The platform then gives concrete recommendations to improve the creative. Happy with the recommendations? The platform can generate an improved version of the ad straight away.
To do this, the tool combines AI with real campaign data, including insights from eye-tracking, brand lift and sales lift. That makes knowledge from previous research directly applicable to new campaigns.
It was exactly this combination of robust research, technology and practical application that impressed the jury of the ESOMAR Research Impact Award.
Developed together with AH Retail Media Services
De Retail Media Impact Advisor is the result of close collaboration between Blauw and AH Retail Media Services. Together, the teams brought research, data, technology and retail media expertise together to build a solution that works in day-to-day practice.
From AH Retail Media Services, Bart Vermeulen and Max de Jong were among those who worked on the innovation. From Blauw, Johan Goedhart, Binne Heida, Maarten van Sluis and Wiebe de Jong were closely involved in its development.
This international recognition shows what becomes possible when research doesn’t stop at an insight. By bringing together data, intelligent technology and human expertise, existing knowledge can be put to work again and again to make better decisions and drive brand growth.
