As a Research Consultant, your focus is on research. We love an entrepreneurial spirit and a healthy dose of stubbornness! Combined with your hands-on mentality, something we in Rotterdam grew up with, you’ll help bring Blauw’s plans and strategy to life. Not afraid to fall flat on your face now and then? Good, because you know that’s the only way to learn fast.
You’ll work on a range of research projects from start to finish: from identifying client needs and translating them into a research design, through to writing and presenting the results. You keep the client proactively updated on progress and on operational project matters. You work independently, but there’s always a colleague by your side to work with.
What you’ll do
- identify client needs and translate them into a winning research proposal;
- steer the projects you’re involved in from start to finish;
- turn research results into concrete changes to strategy, processes, services and communication;
- run presentations, workshops and interactive sessions for clients;
- share your expertise, for example by writing blogs, challenging colleagues and training junior staff.
We’re a match if you:
- know and love market research;
- are a driven quantitative researcher with at least 5 years’ relevant experience;
- have agency experience (though this isn’t essential);
- are comfortable working with research data in SPSS and Excel;
- have a commercial mindset and hit the targets you set;
- are strongly driven by what clients need;
- are a good communicator, proactive and ambitious, and open to feedback as well as unafraid to give it;
- feel at home in an open, flat, self-organising organisation.
