News
This year’s Gouden Spreekbuis for mortgage lenders goes to Obvion. In this 28th edition, the lender showed the strongest improvement on the previous year. Obvion positions itself as the ‘ideal mix’: professional and efficient, yet warm and approachable. It deliberately prioritises quality in its collaboration with advisers, which speeds up processes and improves results. With rising NPS scores and a strong commitment to sustainability, digitalisation and social responsibility, Obvion shows that decisive choices and a genuinely human approach can go hand in hand.
ING and Rabo Intermediair were also nominated. All three lenders earned their nomination through strong improvements in their scores in the Mortgage Lenders Image Blueprint, Blauw’s research among independent mortgage advisers. A professional jury then chose the winner.
This year’s jury:
- Maria Silveira – Director of the Foundation for Certified Mortgage Advisers
- Michiel Meijer – Commercial Director Ingage-Aetos Franchise
- Alex Klein – Editor-in-Chief Infinance
- Roald van der Linde – Member of the Board of Directors of the National Mortgage Guarantee
- Nico Stolwijk – Director of Advocacy at Vereniging Eigen Huis
Summary of the jury’s verdict
The jury sees three lenders that have clearly moved forward over the past period, and shown that their relationship with intermediaries is a strategic priority. ING stands out for its innovation and forward thinking, with a strong role for its personal team alongside rapid digitalisation. Rabobank has shown that a fundamental change of course, with listening to advisers at its core, can lead to lasting improvements and a strong recovery of trust. Obvion shows that professionalism and human warmth can go together, with clear choices leading to both efficiency and appreciation.
Together, the three nominees show that collaboration with intermediaries is on the move: more personal, more sustainable and more innovative than ever. The jury congratulates all three on their results and on their ambition to move the profession forward.
About the research
The Gouden Spreekbuis is awarded to the mortgage lender that has made the most progress over the past year in communication, image, brand awareness and service. Image and performance are measured among advisers who work with the lender. As in previous years, the 2025 award was presented at HypoVak.
