During the presentation of the annual SponsorRingen - the professional award for the best sponsorship cases in the Netherlands - Dutch Lottery and Blauw Sponsorship Impact won the SponsorRing for Data & Insights. We are extremely proud that our valuable cooperation with NLO has been rewarded with this beautiful award.

Aboutthe project
In 2022, NLO signed the longest sponsorship contract in Dutch history, becoming the main sponsor of TeamNL. Such a historic sponsorship contract brings with it the responsibility to use data for strategic decision-making around activations and assets.
Blue Sponsorship Impact developed a continuous tracker that provided insight into the actual impact of NLO's sponsorship on consumer sentiment and behavior for both the corporate brand and five sub-brands. This allowed NLO to continuously see the extent to which goals were met, why KPIs performed as they did, how performance could be improved, and what future sponsorship initiatives could help achieve goals.
The ongoing sponsor tracker includes not only TeamNL, but also other sponsor domains of NLO. This makes it possible to map the impact of the total portfolio. How do different sponsorships reinforce each other in impact for NLO?
The study shows that the effect of sponsorship extends beyond specific collaborations, such as with TeamNL. This confirms the impact of a strong sponsorship portfolio for NLO and makes NLO's role as a partner in sports tangible and measurable.
