About Brand Impact at Blauw
Blauw helps organizations measure and improve the impact of brands and campaigns. We do this through a powerful combination of smart tools and in-depth consulting.

Blauw SPRINT – an agile research platform for fast, scalable tests such as creation, concept, and campaign testing.

Brand & Campaign – research-based consulting and customized brand and cross-media impact studies, including advice and strategy.

In this role, you’ll develop new business for Brand Impact research: from rapid creative testing via our platform to strategic brand and campaign programs with our team of consultants. You’ll cover the full spectrum—from high-speed testing to in-depth strategic work.

What will you be doing?
As a Brand Impact Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for the entire commercial process: from initial contact to a signed contract. You’ll collaborate with marketing, brand, and insights teams, deliver compelling presentations and demos, and advise on the best research approach.

You’ll actively build a strong pipeline (outbound and inbound) and work closely with colleagues from Brand Impact to develop compelling proposals and quotes. You’ll then ensure a smooth handoff to the expert teams.

Here are some of your responsibilities as a Brand Impact Business Development Manager:

  • Generate leads on your own and follow up on inbound leads (including through content, events, and referrals);
  • Qualify prospects and ask follow-up questions based on brand and campaign goals (refine the briefing);
  • Actively develop new business (by phone and via LinkedIn/networking), including cold calling when necessary;
  • Build and strengthen relationships with marketing, brand, and insights stakeholders;
  • Delivering presentations, demos, and content-focused pitches;
  • Developing quotes and proposals with the team;
  • Identify opportunities with existing customers and turn them into follow-up orders.

Who are you?
You thrive on new business and building strong client relationships. You have a keen business sense, are curious, and take a genuine interest in brands and campaigns. You know how to not only convince clients but also build lasting relationships with them.

  • HBO-level work and thinking skills;
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales/business development (B2B), preferably in (marketing) services, research, or consulting;
  • Skilled at substantive conversations: you listen, ask follow-up questions, and translate needs into concrete solutions;
  • Proactive, energetic, and organized: you maintain control over your pipeline and take ownership;
  • You enjoy making new connections and aren't afraid of outbound sales;
  • An interest in market research, brands, and campaigns is a definite plus;
  • Available for 32–40 hours per week.

What does it get you?

  • A role with real impact, in which you’ll help build one of Blauw’s most important value propositions;
  • A great deal of freedom and responsibility to shape your own success;
  • Working at the intersection of business, research, data, and marketing strategy;
  • A modern office on Coolsingel (with a terrace) and a casual, energetic culture;
  • Hybrid work: You decide, in consultation with your employer, where and when you work;
  • A competitive salary, a good bonus plan, and opportunities for career growth;
  • Socializing and sports: group lunches, get-togethers and parties, boot camps, and (intense) table soccer.
