HR Manager

As an HR manager at Blauw, you’ll be responsible for HR policy and serve as a strategic partner to the management team. You’ll combine their ideas and needs with your HR expertise and vision to develop an HR policy that helps attract new talent and offers our valued employees a rewarding career.  

In addition, you’ll work with our HR specialist to ensure that the Employee Journey—from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between—is an inspiring adventure. You thrive on the challenge of taking on a wide range of tasks and switching between strategic, tactical, and operational responsibilities. After all, HR administration and payroll management are also part of your responsibilities. You enjoy working independently on a project basis and have a strong sense of responsibility.

You have at least a higher vocational education (HBO+) level of work and thinking, preferably with a background in Human Resource Management, and have at least 5 years of experience in an all-around HR role, including several years as an HR manager. Additionally, knowledge of and experience with AFAS is a must.

What will you do?

As HR Manager, you will have a versatile position and work closely with all Blauwers, both management and employees. We expect you to:

  • takes the initiative for developments in HR with regard to binding and exciting employees (labor market approach, recruitment and selection, education & training, performance management, organization design, terms and conditions of employment);
  • keep a close eye on legal developments that are relevant to Blauw and, in consultation with others, adapt HR procedures so that they comply with legal requirements and align with Blauw’s values;
  • The organization provides advice on the implementation of HR policies and HR processes;  
  • is able to manage HR projects efficiently, ensuring that ideas move quickly from the drawing board to policy;
  • together with the HR representative, you will serve as the point of contact for all Blauw employees regarding both operational and personal HR matters;
  • Together with the HR officer, performs operational activities related to personnel administration. This includes personnel and payroll administration in AFAS, keeping staff directory up-to-date, etc.
