Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an inquisitive, smart, ambitious and communicatively skilled entry-level researcher. You get a kick out of solving complex (international) strategic marketing issues for commercial B2C brands with a can-do mentality.

In doing so, you are driven by genuine curiosity about human behavior and needs. You see new challenges as an opportunity to develop further. Even if that means taking a step back from time to time. Experience with SPSS is an advantage.

What will you do?

You will start within Blauw's Marketing Strategy team. This team helps A-brands in FMCG and Retail in particular to grow further. How? By providing insight into consumer behavior and needs.

You start from a broad base. You gain experience with different methods in research and work with different clients. This is how you learn which type of research best suits your talents. And which type of clients you enjoy working with.

As you grow, you take on more responsibility and work more independently. In doing so, you can gradually claim more of your own specialty. The central goal is to achieve the best results together with colleagues and clients and to experience a rapid learning curve.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In your role, you will be involved from A to Z in solving issues:

Together with a senior researcher, you will conduct briefing interviews and think about how we can use research to solve our clients' marketing problem.
You will be responsible for the design of research and the project management involved. For example, in collaboration with a senior researcher you will design questionnaires or assignments for an online community. You see to it that things are programmed properly and that the quality of the fieldwork is guaranteed.
You proactively communicate with clients about research progress and coordinate planning and follow-up steps with them.
Together with the senior researcher, you will analyze outcomes of research. This can be either a dataset or stories shared in an online community. Together, you agree on the structure of the report, after which you elaborate it.
After a joint presentation of the results, you evaluate the project and your contribution to it with your colleagues and the client. You discuss what went well and what you can pay extra attention to in a future collaboration.
